1 /5 Brendan Peck: I went through Urbanski because my Dad insisted on it. Initially when I called, I was told I had to come in because "they dont do business over the phone" in 2025. Immediately I didnt want to go with them because thats just outdated. I sign up for my policy anyway and went through progressive. We paid all of the 6 month up front. A month later, I get a notification on that it has been cancelled. I call progressive and the bank to ensure everything was correct, the bank says there was never a payment they declined and theres plenty of money to pay the 6 month premium Urbanski had no information for me and didnt even know it was cancelled. Progressive ends up telling me they cannot sign me a policy in NYS at all now that it happened once. Basically, this boils down to an issue of entering the card information incorrectly or something on the Agency side is what I was told. Now I cant go through progressive at all, have to pay more through the next lowest company, and will not be going through Urbanski for anything anymore. Should have trusted my gut or checked the reviews before just trusting them. Look anywhere else. Update: Finally got them on the phone today. Let the rude old man know that I didnt appreciate being screwed out of a policy with Progressive, he simply said "okay goodbye" with no apologoy or anything whatsoever. He was cutting me off the entire time I was explaining what happened and how we arrived at the fact that he screwed everything up. No apology. Kept saying "did you call progressive?" Each time I spoke. Isnt the entire reason we go through an agency so that they can do this stuff for us? This is hands down the worst experience Ive ever had as a customer.

1 /5 Chris Kelly: The owner is one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. He called multiple times well after normal business hours, then sent multiple texts demanding a call back. When told we would speak to him during normal business hours, he threatened to cancel our policy with if we did not do more business with him. He hung up on me twice. I would not recommend him to anyone.

1 /5 Gloria Diaz: Unprofessional, rude and horrible company. Try not to do business with them. Issued a policy without my authorization. Story: Came here to get a quote for car insurance and spoke with the owner Stanley. The owner calls me back and tells me he found a company and I would save money. I asked what the coverage consisted of and he kept on saying full coverage. He gave me the pricing and told me how much more I could save, he also told me I needed to pay in full in order to get this discount if not I wasnt going get it and wanted me to submit payment over the phone without me reviewing my quote and my coverages. I told him I will be coming in on Saturday to review and see my deductibles and all, he agreed. Friday I received a call from the insurance company he said he got the quote from and they said they would be coming to look at my property , I told them I did not give them authorization to do so and that I do not have a policy with them all I had was a quote. Over the phone the insurance company told me there was a policy issued under my name(which I did not approve), I asked for them to cancel and she said she couldnt and that the agency had to do so before Monday because that is when it was set to start. Saturday I went to speak with the Owner I told him what happened and I told him I wanted the insurance canceled because I never told him to issue it. I gave no signature or payment, he kicked me out of his office and told me to call them myself so I explained what they said over the phone. He wanted me to leave and "he would handle it". I told him I wanted him to get this done today so that I would not get charged. He calls me back looks at the policies and said I would be saving money with them and I still said I wasnt going to get it because of the obvious reasons (he issued the policy without my authorization) and I decided is best to stay with the other company again because of that same reason. He asked "why did you come here then, why did you ask for it" I responded that I asked for a quote and I specifically told him I was coming Saturday to review everything and see if that was the correct choice but instead he decided to proceed without my consent. He got agitated and said to never come back again (I wasnt planning to). We called and got everything set up. The lady from the insurance company was trying to say that the lady from Friday never told me I couldnt cancel and I needed to watch for Urbanski to do so. (This was a lie) she kept on trying to tell me something different but I did get told he was the only one allowed to, and I was not able to cancel my own policy. After everything was done he proceeded to kick me out again and tell me to never come back. And Again I wasnt planning to.

1 /5 TONYA WILSON: The agent and staff are incompetent, rude and completely out of their depth. I have spent months working out logistics on three properties and numerous auto policies inadequately insured that have been inherited in the passing of our father. They do not follow direction, they do not read communications, they follow not update contact information, they cannot appropriately use the technologies they must use in todays business. I cannot wait to finally close the door on this agency. My recommendation is to steer clear of them. If you are using them, be sure you are getting what you paid for. They farm everything out to other agencies, but those agencies wont talk to me because my name is not on the policy. Its a tragedy businesses like this are sustainable.
