Several years ago I was swimming in credit card debt I thought I could pay back after I finished college and started my career. A few years in, I realized my careers salary (schoolteacher) was not going to be enough for me to live on and pay back my debts I had accumulated being a single mom and going to school, because of the high interests that would keep coming. I was horrified I had let this happen, and stressed, scared and working 2 and 3 jobs to make ends meet. I decided to take the plunge and call one of the numbers I had received in the mail offering help.
