2 /5 Erik Adams: My Wife and I found a ring she loved at Harts and the lady helping us quoted a price. The next day I called to reserve it, and (another) lady I spoke with quoted me a different price (higher). When I went in that night to pick up the ring, the lady I spoke with on the phone was there, and I questioned the price difference. She said the first lady made a mistake, but they would honor the lower price. I told her I didnt want to get anyone in trouble, and would pay the higher price if they needed me to. She said no, but didnt seem too thrilled about the situation. I told her the ring would need to be sized, and that I would be back the next day with my wife, but I would like to take the ring home to present to her that evening. She said that would be fine. The next day we returned, and as we were handing over the ring to be sized, they informed us we would have to pay to have it resized. All the places Ive ever bought rings previously (including Harts) an initial sizing has always been free. When we questioned it, the curt reply was "not at that price". We took the ring to another local shop to have it sized and received excellent service. We also found some amazing pieces we are considering. I guess things happen for a reason!
