1 /5 A H: Disappointed by the rude and unprofessional behavior. I walked into the store with my mom, and immediately noticed that the two women working there were deep in a conversation in Spanish, completely ignoring customers. My mom politely asked a question about jewelry, and I noticed one of the women give her a dirty look in response. Concerned, I asked my mom what happened, and she said she was just inquiring about toe rings. I then looked at the woman and asked if they sold toe rings, since I wasn’t sure how their exchange had gone. Instead of answering calmly, both women became hostile, raising their voices and ganging up on me. Assuming I was asking them “what happened”, when I was asking my mom. I couldn’t even finish a sentence they were aggressive, defensive, and extremely unprofessional. Feeling uncomfortable, I told my mom, “Let’s go, the energy here is bad,” to which one of the women responded, “Yes, go, leave! ” I left feeling confused and shocked, and now that I’m reading other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in this experience. It felt like the dirty look may have been because my mom interrupted their personal conversation, which is disappointing especially considering we were customers. This was our first visit and definitely our last. Wishing them all the best, but customer service like that……., no words just wish you the best and hoping there is change in how customers are treated.

5 /5 Luisanaandrea: Came across this gem after dinner, immediately caught my eye from its vintage 50s window front but once you come inside you are welcome by so many unique one of a kind pieces of jewelry, bags, mask, bejeweled headbands and so much more. I was able to snag some amazing pieces during their “happy hour” and will definitely be coming back for more.

5 /5 Kari Villanueva: Really loved this place when I went here. Tons of really cute, unique items. As someone with large fingers, I appreciate their extensive ring selection. In most jewelry stores it’s hard to find any women’s rings above a 9, let alone a large selection of cute rings

1 /5 Sarah Walter: When I entered this store, they had cute accessories, but their treatment towards Black customers was very telling. I was greeted, but the other customers who were browsing were never acknowledged and were watched heavily. If they turned left, the workers tracked their every move. The staff was so focused on them that I ended up leaving — it was clearly uncomfortable.

5 /5 Amy Dunn: I stumbled upon this beautifully-curated shop sometime last summer and HAD to get the art pencil purse. I’ve taken that thing all around the world and have received dozens of compliments from every place! It’s truly become a conversation starter and a cherished piece in my collection. Thank goodness I took a picture of the bag + tag (with permission) so I could revisit on my next NYC trip. This time, I walked away with a rockstar dinosaur crossbody that makes me smile every time I look at it. Korina and Gio made the shopping experience 100x’s better and were patient with me as I shopped and asked questions. Goldinferno is a great place to find truly unique gifts. Can’t wait for my next visit!
