5 /5 Al Padilla: Been with the Dave McMahon agency for several years. Monica and Joe are always there to help and give my business top priority whenever I call. I live in the Hudson valley. They have done such a great job with my insurance that I move all of my personal policies with them as well. A+ agency in my book and I tell everyone about them.

1 /5 Denis Mantsurov: Absolutely unprofessional and unethical agency. Stay away from them. Too bad he’s the only agent in Buffalo writing for Erie Insurance. Asked them for a quote to add kids to the auto policy. Took them a week to respond where they asked for the copies of kids drivers licenses. Then no response again for 3 weeks. When reached out to follow up, the response was that the kids were added (without my consent). Asked them about premium change - response - went up only $7. Week later received a new policy from the carrier showing that the premium went up $3K.

1 /5 A: Was with the McMahon agency for many years. Had a pleasant experience initially with a gentlemen named Mike? Who I don’t believe is there anymore. The first time switching car insurances with my agent was a nightmare. She (Monica) made 5 mistakes on my policy and now I’m stuck. Didn’t take any responsibility. Her response to the mistakes was “ok”. No apology , no let me check into why this happened , many excuses though. Talked to Dave the owner and he is uncomfortably rude. Talks over you, makes 101 excuses , has the attitude that his company can make no errors, no apology. I only switched to this agency from another I was with for 12 years because the broker whom I loved left. I would not recommend Monica as she is very careless when it comes to changing over policies. I would not recommend talking to Dave unless you have time to listen to him ramble on about the fact his company is perfect. Switching angencies immediately.

5 /5 Brad Cline: I’ve been with this agency for many years. Joe Blask is the epitome of “Great Service”. He goes out of his way for everything that we ask of him. We have many different policies between a few businesses and personal. I definitely recommend giving them a call!

1 /5 Adam: Requested quote for renters insurance. Was sent a bill for renters insurance through NYCM. Called a “Joe Blask” and said I was going with progressive instead because it was cheaper. Everything seemed fine. 3 months later a bill for $38 was on my credit report as “in collections” from NYCM and now Resource Recovery. It is now costing me potentially hundreds every month according to my mortgage quotes. Safe to say I wouldn’t recommend. They’ve only ever pushed NYCM to me anyways. Not an actual insurance brokerage. Just a front for NYCM.
