I had a lot of mystery metals from a side quest I went on a few years back; and he tested them all for free! He spent over an hour checking these tiny antique academic pins. There must have been at least over a hundred. He was meticulous. Unfortunately for him I found more when I got home.

I have to admit I did call him twice before I showed up. Once I called to ask about the testing of metal, because I neck deep in organizing my hoard of treasures, and again because I had no idea what to do with a spool of copper wire. While he doesnt accept copper wire, he knew what to do with it. He told me to check the price of copper before taking it anywhere, so I wouldnt get lowballed. That right there speaks to his character. I knew then I was definitely going to his shop.
