1 /5 Sandy Carver: Very friendly family owned jewelry store. They have something for anyones budget. Great store to have in our little town. Update - I always felt good about taking my jewelry here. But since the owner retired and his son took over. This place is an absolute joke. I took my wedding ring in to have an upgraded stone put in back in March. This was a gift from my husband to upgrade my ring. After multiple calls and our anniversary come up in August, it still wasnt ready (really 5 months later). So I went in demanding to see my ring. Was starting to feel like I was getting the run around. They did have it, but still not ready. I said I wanted it by August 28 (our anniversary). Assured me it would be ready. So the day came and went in, he said sorry blah blah I can have it for next week. I lost it! Next week my anniversary will be over. Its today, and youve had my ring 6 months. I stormed out. An hour later, he called me to say hed deliver it to me in an hour. 2 hours pass, and here he was. He did his best to hide my ring but charged me nothing. Rightfully so. Side diamonds were missing shotty soldering. I was devastated. Only plus my husband bought me a new ring since the original, which I loved so much, is now ruined. Will never be back.

1 /5 Mark Nafziger: I dropped off an antique mantle clock late in July to have it cleaned. It wasnt consistently chiming but kept perfect time. Watkins said they normally took 30 days for cleaning but werent busy and thought they would be done with my clock in 10 days. I called back 2 months later and asked how they were doing with my clock. They asked me to describe it. After a long wait they came back and told me it wasnt done. I asked if I needed to keep calling back and they said that would be ok. So I called after another month and they said it was done. When I went to pick it up the owner called it a piece of junk. When I told him I didnt find that amusing then he started telling me he could have sold it to many customers that wanted it. When I got it home it was running slow by 33 minutes per day. I called Watkins back 2 days later and left a message letting them know of the problem. Nobody called my back. I spent $125 and drove 4 hours to let them ruin my clock. They were very unprofessional and apparently incompetent. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone.

1 /5 Stephen Yarnall: I dropped off my clock, which was a gift for my retirement, for repairs in July 2021. I called several times on the progress and was told "we will call you when it is done". By July of 2023, I went to the store to retrieve my clock whether it was finished or not. I figured if it wasnt done after two years, it never would be. Well, they lost my clock! They have told me they will call me when it is located, but now three months later they still have not found it. I am now out my retirement gift that had more sentimental value to me than actual value. If I could rate this place with zero stars, I would!

1 /5 Michael Lauersdorf: Took my wifes wedding ring to get fixed and they told us 1 or 2 weeks. After two months went to check on it and they said they are having a hard time getting the stones. They told us they would call us when finished. Went back after another couple months now they said that the stones came in and were getting on with fixing it. After waiting another couple of months, a total of over six months we went and just asked for the unfinished ring. They were all very friendly, but customer service lacked big time!
