5 /5 Lisa Andrews: It is always such a pleasure to visit this lovely and quaint jewelry store whenever I fly in from Los Angeles. Their customer service is impeccable. For example I had a ring that needed sizing and the owner rushed out to inquire what I needed but it was unfortunate she could not size it as she indicated that she was a month out in repairs. That’s indeed saying something as clearly she is in demand. Despite this she offered a temporary solution and placed a ring guard to keep it in place. I also appreciated the intentional conversation we had with the sales rep who was delightful as well. I ended up buying a beautiful set of silver bracelets that are fun “arm candy” There are a few other pieces I have my eye on and hope to pop back by before I return to LA. Straiths is a great option for high quality jewelry at a magnificent price point. Dr. L

5 /5 Blue Offutt: I went in for a battery for my Moms watch and out of curiosity, inquired if anything could be done for my severely worn (26 years) wedding ring. Over the years, the elegant dimple texture had worn smooth. They examined the ring and noticed it was so worn that the diamond was about to fall out also. They mentioned they could fix the mount AND refinish the texture. I was visiting from Arizona, so I left the ring with them for shipment back after the work. Later that day, I told my wife about the visit and she wanted hers refinished too. So we headed back to Arizona with our wedding rings left behind in Illinois. A little over a week later, both rings arrived and THEY LOOKED BRAND NEW!!! The original dimple texture was back, the diamonds were solidly mounted and the gold shined like new. All for around $200 including, insured, express shipping. The experience in the store was great and the result of the work was outstanding! FJ Offutt
