I kept some but when I brought other coins in to Decatur Coin & Jewelry, the owner, Bennie Strumpher, was very helpful, informative, so nice and pleasant and I did learn a lot from him. If they dont have what you need Bruce will go to his warehouses to find your items. Teresa has wonderful jewelry classes and just had her first video jewelry class. It was wonderful!!! I Loved IT. Chela This was by far my favorite jewelry store in Galena. There were many options available in all sizes sorted very well and organized. Real sterling silver jewelry. There’s a variety of styles to choose from. The man at the register was very kind and friendly. They also have an upstairs with holiday decor all year long. Loved the place so much I came back to buy more rings.

Terry Scott Newstar Jewelers did an excellent job modifying on my Rhodium plated Sterling silver pendant I that purchased online from another jeweler. Originally the loops on my pendant were too small to fit my necklace. Now it fits beautifully they even put the serial number from the tag onto the back of the pendant! I was originally quoted 10 days. They went above and beyond, all this done in about 5. Actually, I’m sure it was more like 4 days because as soon as they opened on the 5th day, I received a text saying the pendant was completed. Again, excellent job done and I’m extremely pleased with Newstar!
