1 /5 kevin Johnson: I used to have this guy as my insurance agent. I was rear-end by an old lady and a police officer witnessed the accident and wrote her a ticket.
Shortly thereafter State Farm called and told me that they had determined that I was at fault because I was driving too fast. I asked how they knew how fast I was driving and how it was possible that if I was driving too fast, it was my fault she was driving even faster and rear-ended me. No comment. It’s just your fault.
So I went to Mark Prutzman’s office to ask him how I was responsible for being rear-end. He repeated the line that I was driving too fast. I asked him how he could possibly know how fast I was driving since it wasn’t in the police report.
He then said that the old lady’s ticket was dropped therefore the accident was my fault. How, I asked. At this point he started yelling, threatening and swearing at me. I left his office and he followed me outside to my car, continuing to yell obscenities at me.
I went home, got auto insurance from USAA and canceled my State Farm insurance.
