2 /5 Josh: Went to the store on 09/13/2025 for a sale on a really good ring that was going to upgrade my wife as it was our anniversary. We went in, showed them what we wanted and our trade in, the store manager found the appropriate ring and it fit my wife like a glove. We hashed out a few details with the trade in and insurance and asked to get the out the door price before we settled in with our choice. The manager was on her computer for a bit before coming back with $1,4xx.xx out the door. We said that works for us and started the process. As I was prepared to swipe my card, we were told there was an issue with something. After that was resolved, the manager said its actually $1,7xx.xx now; a $300 difference [20% price increase] Somehow, our trade was too expensive so it didnt qualify properly. She said the only way she can make this work is by the district manager fixing this. I told her to call. The district manager then guided her through the system to properly ring it up which made it out the door at $1,598.xx. so now we split the difference. Unfortunately, at that point, we felt bad about the whole process. It felt like we were just sold by a used car salesman who shoved in a new price at the very last second.
How dare you get my wifes hopes up, lie about the price, then tell us its not a big deal. That was disgusting service.
