Tanya Orndorff I was looking for a jeweler close to home because my watches needed to get new betteries, and one needed a small repair. I also had some jewelery that I no longer wanted, and thought I would bring it in with me when I dropped off my watches to see if they were interested in them. Susan, the owner, was there and helped me right away. What she didnt know is that I had thought about selling my rings before, and other jewelers had looked at the wedding set. Spencers did make me a better offer, and I was happy to let them go and put that money to good use. I also cant wait to go back and shop around. I wear a lot of business casual attire, and sometimes a nice piece of jewelery makes you look a little more put together. They have jewelery in my budget, and some pretty little things that I cant wait to add to my birthday/anniversary/xmas lists! Also want to note they have a very friendly staff :) 5 stars, 6 flags, 2 thumbs up!

Miranda Sneade I could actually spend all day in this store. Not a lot of smaller towns have great places to shop for clothing but Bishop Hill definitely does. The girls in there are really sweet and super helpful. They’ve got anything from children’s clothing to plus size to accessories and there’s tons of home decor and antique furniture in there. I’ve ben there three times and I still wanna go back and look around more.

Olivia Green I wish I could give Ethan Lord, specifically Erika, more than 5 stars! She made the entire process seamless. From my husband originally going in to pick out my engagement ring, all the way through creating our wedding bands together, she was incredible. Erika is truly the kindest human and immediately made us feel so comfortable, especially since neither of us knew much about rings. She’s funny, warm, and one of those people you feel like you’ve known for years. I get compliments on my ring everywhere I go, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her guidance and care. The service at Ethan Lord is beyond amazing, if you dont know where to start with your engagement ring and/or wedding bands - look no further!

Lisa Andrews It is always such a pleasure to visit this lovely and quaint jewelry store whenever I fly in from Los Angeles. Their customer service is impeccable. For example I had a ring that needed sizing and the owner rushed out to inquire what I needed but it was unfortunate she could not size it as she indicated that she was a month out in repairs. That’s indeed saying something as clearly she is in demand. Despite this she offered a temporary solution and placed a ring guard to keep it in place. I also appreciated the intentional conversation we had with the sales rep who was delightful as well. I ended up buying a beautiful set of silver bracelets that are fun “arm candy” There are a few other pieces I have my eye on and hope to pop back by before I return to LA. Straiths is a great option for high quality jewelry at a magnificent price point. Dr. L
