5 /5 Glenn Harbin: I had a good visit with a banker today as I set up a debit card on my new business account.

1 /5 Living an Abundant Life: Heartland Bank & Trust is a worthless institution. The whole point of banking is to put my money somewhere safe and make it grow. I saved thousands there for years and their interest rate sucks. You can easily find a better bank online paying 3-5% interest with better customer service as opposed to less than 0.5% interest with Heartland. I didn’t make hardly anything off of it. But when I moved across the country for a better job they double charged me negative. Then they charged me more than 10 overdraft fees for the same withdrawal they wrongfully double charged me. So they basically stole my whole first paycheck when I moved. It put me in a really bad position with rent. Then when the lawsuit happened I got $29.90/>$1,500 that they owe me. What a joke. Put your money anywhere else and not only will you make more money but you won’t risk losing it due to Heartland Bank & Trust not understanding accounting.

1 /5 Ryan Miranda: BEWARE!!!! If I could give this bank 0 stars, I would. We were given incorrect information by an employee, multiple times in writing, and that information ended up costing us so much in the end. The bank will not do anything to resolve the issue (and we arent asking for much of anything)! I have reported it to the BBB and will have to seek legal help if I want them to be held accountable. This was all for something that could have been so easily handled if they had any concern for the customers in their communities. Do NOT do business with this bank unless you want it to be your word against theirs (and they will win unless you hire an attorney). They dont even understand their own contracts so do NOT trust them with your hard-earned money!
