Jessie Thompson I had a wonderful experience at The Bee’s Knees the other day! The owner of the shop was very nice and helped me find a few things for my sister’s birthday gift. They have so much to pick from. Cute bags and decorations to lotions and perfumes. Plus they make floral arrangements and wreaths that would be perfect for any occasion. Sandy Carver Very friendly family owned jewelry store. They have something for anyones budget. Great store to have in our little town. Update - I always felt good about taking my jewelry here. But since the owner retired and his son took over. This place is an absolute joke. I took my wedding ring in to have an upgraded stone put in back in March. This was a gift from my husband to upgrade my ring. After multiple calls and our anniversary come up in August, it still wasnt ready (really 5 months later). So I went in demanding to see my ring. Was starting to feel like I was getting the run around. They did have it, but still not ready. I said I wanted it by August 28 (our anniversary). Assured me it would be ready. So the day came and went in, he said sorry blah blah I can have it for next week. I lost it! Next week my anniversary will be over. Its today, and youve had my ring 6 months. I stormed out. An hour later, he called me to say hed deliver it to me in an hour. 2 hours pass, and here he was. He did his best to hide my ring but charged me nothing. Rightfully so. Side diamonds were missing shotty soldering. I was devastated. Only plus my husband bought me a new ring since the original, which I loved so much, is now ruined. Will never be back.

Janet A Smart Really unusual pieces. Village Jewelers has always been my go-to for special pieces. As the years have gone by the pieces have become more incredible. I dont know where he finds them but this store is a treasure. I recently had a repair done on my mothers wedding ring. Exceptional work at a reasonable price. Its comforting to still have a privately owned businesses and be able to find high quality one of a kind pieces to wear. Thank you for sharing your eye and your talent. They’re very professional, and they’ve made me feel so special during each visit. Girly is always eager to help and shared in my excitement when I tried my wedding band on for the first time. Miranda Sneade I could actually spend all day in this store. Not a lot of smaller towns have great places to shop for clothing but Bishop Hill definitely does. The girls in there are really sweet and super helpful. They’ve got anything from children’s clothing to plus size to accessories and there’s tons of home decor and antique furniture in there. I’ve ben there three times and I still wanna go back and look around more.
