Joe S Steve is one of the nicest, most personable, and genuine guys Ive ever met. He has been my agent for over 25 years and neither he, nor any of his staff, have ever let me down. He goes the extra mile and ensures that not only you are satisfied with any product, question, and/or concern, but he, himself, must also be fulfilled! I have my auto, home, umbrella, and life policies through Steve, as well as 3 retirement accounts. A family member additionally has a farm policy with him. Theres no one I could recommend more to entrust your liabilities and future with.

Susan Heaton Since I was not able to discuss my claims with my agent Tyler Hansen. I was referred to Dan Kniss which was not available has not call me back. Referred me to Country Financial Bloomington HQ. I am writing to express my ongoing frustration with the lack of communication regarding my two weather-related claims with agent Tyler Hansen. Over the past 4-5 months, I have made many calls without receiving any callbacks. When I requested a scheduled call via email, Tyler asked me to send my questions by email instead. He did not answer my questions. This lack of responsiveness and guidance has been disappointing and indicates a significant gap in customer service, claim services. A failure to respond, guide, communicate, respond. No effort to keep me in the loop.

My homeowners claim from start to finish was complicated and frustrating, and it felt easier to walk away from it than to sort through it. Hard to find that kind of initiative and commitment to clients in the world we live in today. His kindness and commitment will never be forgotten. Dan Fitzgerald I stopped in to inquire about auto and homeowners insurance. I found Jacqueline to be warm and friendly, and very professional. She spent about two hours with me and helped me understand the various coverages and options. She even reviewed my current insurance coverage and she pointed out my house was under-insured. I would highly recommend the Short Insurance Agency. It was pleasure working with her. I also really liked working with her in person as she asked all the right questions to find the best rates for me. I had some previous experiences with other insurance companies, working on the phone or online, that were not productive.
