5 /5 Tamara St Romain: Farmers Insurance – The Hathaway Agency is phenomenal. My experience with this agency has been AMAZING from Day 1. These agents really care about you as a customer and treat you as if you are a part of an extended family. They are very attentive to your needs; they respond to your questions and concerns immediately and are knowledgeable about the business. Even during this COVID-19 pandemic, they have never dropped the ball. I have personally been working with Linda Byrd (Customer Service and Sales Representative) the last few weeks on several things, and Linda is the TRUE DEFINITION OF AWESOME! Again, Farmers Insurance – The Hathaway Agency is the best provider I have had in a long time. Kudos to the entire Team!

She was able to save me a significant amount of money over my previous insurance. Since becoming a customer, I have received nothing but excellent customer service. I highly recommend this agency and this representative.

1 /5 Ronnie Townsend: Just like one of the last reviewers ( Curt Dusrerhoff) I had been with this company for awhile. They had always used our credit card as autopay to pay in full for our policies. We renewed our auto for 6 months, received insurance cards and forgot about it. About a month later we go online one weekend while working on our budget and see that our auto policy was canceled. What?!Whole family, including a teen driver, has been driving around unknowingly without auto insurance for about 3 weeks. Thank goodness nothing happened because we were so vulnerable. The incompetence of the Hathaway agency and unresponsiveness of Tyler was unbelievable. I found them to be completely unethical and very unprofessional, as they did nothing to correct their mistake. I had to pay fines for letting three vehicles lapse on insurance to the state, and pay a premium to another company because it showed that we had not paid part of our insurance, though it was no fault of our own. Tyler never had the decency to return my phone calls and dealing with Eric was a complete waste of time.

1 /5 Dr. Melissa Briscoe Lamarche: We used this company for years and they were good, but recently not so much. We had our renewal coming up and my husband reached out to them many time to discuss the rates and the policy for at least 2 months prior to our renewal. They told my husband that they were going to wait until the policy renewal got closer to give new quotes. Well, the policy renewal came and went with them never getting back to my husband, despite the fact that he tried to connect with them many times. Then after they charged our credit card over 7k for policies we no longer wanted, because they didnt listen or obviously care, my husband reached out again and they took their time getting back with him. So now we have charge on our card in excess of 7k that we werent expecting. Not a good position to be in, especially when we tried to change our policy before this happened. Seems that this agency wants our money so bad that they had to lie to us, give us the run around and go low contact. Still trying to resolve the charges, but the agency is not much help. Will definitely be finding another company with better service. All I can say is buyer beware. If you want a service based insurance company, you should probably look elsewhere. The service from this agency is subpar and very costly!

1 /5 Curt Dusterhoff: Been doing business with them since 2018. Had my home and 7 vehicles insured through their agency. Tried to get a quote on a new policy, couldnt even get a call back. They let coverage lapse on several vehicles while I was out of town without so much as a call or notice in the mail to check in. Attempted multiple times to reach out to Tyler directly but he refused to call back. I sent a VERY frustrated email over to the office requesting some kind of call back and explanation. NOTHING. Taking all of my business elsewehere. I was spending a decent bit of money with this agency and their service is basically non existent since Brian Bass left.
