Keenan Hitchens I only visit the Chapel Hill Road branch of Delta Community Credit Union three to four times a year, but every visit feels like I’m coming home. From the moment I walk in, the environment is welcoming, calm, and professional. Whether I’m here for routine transactions or more complex questions, I always feel at ease knowing I’m in good hands. In April, Joan helped me with a routine transaction—getting tip money for an upcoming trip—and she handled everything so professionally and with genuine friendliness that the process felt effortless. Then in July, Camdyn greeted me, anticipated my needs, and handled my request with remarkable efficiency and a warm smile. Both experiences were nothing short of phenomenal. Behind every great team is an outstanding leader, and Donna exemplifies exactly how a Delta Community branch should be run. Jay Braver My kids, my wife and I got accounts here in 2018 after moving nearby. Several of the employees then are still there now in 2025. Its a small location that gets a LOT of business. I dont go there on payday Fridays because its jammed packed which is not WFs fault. Never seen less than two bankers working the indoor line. Ill miss them when I move.

Deb Ridings We have been loyal banking customers at the original Mountain Valley Community Bank for twenty years. We have 4 accounts with them. In less than a few years, MVCB sold out to Piedmont Bank Corp, which has now sold out to United Bank Shares. We are not interested in having our routing numbers, account numbers etc, fee schedules changing to include new charges, and to have to purchase all new checks for four accounts! We will be moving our accounts and business as of next week, the first week of March, 2025. There was zero notice given to us as a customer about this second buyout, until it had happened. Were done with whatever they want to call themselves this month. The changes being made only appeal to the stockholders of the new bank, evidently. :-(

Bennie Bates At that time of my writing this, we have just completed taxes for 2024. I had my personal and business taxes done by Christine and her team. Ive had poor experiences in the past with CPAs and was weary, but she came recommended from a coworker. I was blown away on day 1. Christine personally met with me for a free consultation. She had papers laying out everything including the flat rates for all services and the program they use to upload documents (and instructions on how to use it). The team was very communicative and worked quickly. I only ever got messages if they needed something directly from me. Next thing I know, the taxes are done! I was fully expecting to owe thousands of dollars due to my contractor status..... but Christine got me a refund!! (I havent gotten a refund in YEARS!) Unless something crazy happens, this was by far the best process Ive ever had done. I will use Christine again for 2025 and would highly recommend her to anybody!

Dena Martin Sarah is a great accountant! I work in a similar industry in the same town and weve referred business to each other. My clients have always been pleased with her work and shes always been very responsive to me. Weve also collaborated on projects. As to the previous review - he hadnt used Sarahs services in two years, was told that she was not taking new clients, she forgot to send him referrals (or did he just not see the email?) and somehow that makes her untrustworthy. HOGWASH! He obviously knew how to use Google, so he could have easily found another tax preparer. Sarah wasnt the problem in that situation, because Sarahs awesome!

Mallory Capps Brian is down to earth, easy to work with, and explains things well for those that are not financially literate. He gave us many options for our financial situation. We appreciate Doreen, his office administrator, who is always on it- thank you both!
