Humble Homestead The bad - I opened an acct on the 4th , it is now the 15th and still no debit card, was told it should be here by the end of the week with no explanation for delay. No online checking like the bank weve had. The good - What you would expect from a small town bank, friendly. Mrs Dana was the sweetest thing to everyone who came in the door. Summary - will be switching direct deposit back to old bank where the service is speedy. Had a replacement debit card in 3 days once. Was hoping to bank close to new home but not willing to sacrifice service recieved from other small town bank where were from.

Chattanooga Unfiltered We never had major issues with our accounts, and we appreciated that direct deposits often came in early each month. However, it was IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone by phone, no matter how many times we called. This spanned over years and was not a temporary issue. Over time, this caused real problems for us and added a lot of unnecessary stress and delays in important matters. Their policies also made it unnecessarily difficult to manage joint accounts, POA matters, and they made it incredibly stressful to close the account after the death of one of the account holders. We eventually moved to a different bank that better fits our needs.

Kirby Griffis PSA: After reaching out to the branch, I first spoke to the assistant manager Paige which was so helpful, understanding and caring of the issue. She assured me that she would get this issue over to the Branch manager . The branch manager (Cindy) then called me about the issue and was the upmost respectful and apologetic and assured me that the issue would be taken care of. I have been to this bank very few times, for the simple reason of the lady in the drive thru. She has the absolute worst customer service I have EVER seen!!! She is rude, short spoken and never smiles!!

Carla Spivey The team provided excellent customer service and the assistance I needed to support my financial goal. I was also impressed with their modern technology which made the document process an ease.

Brianna Smith Anjelica stayed past closing time to help me close on a loan. She was so nice, very thorough and helpful, also patient as I kept changing my mind on vehicles. She worked very fast and literally within a few hours, I had a new car without any hassle. This is my second time working with Lendmark and I highly recommend them!

Richard Talley I would like to thank Laura Kennon. She is the community manager at Georgias Own Conyers location. Her customer service surpassed all of my expectations. Ive been a member of multiple banks in my 46 years, but I have never received anything close to the special treatment I received from Ms. Kennon. She helped me with my loan so I could purchase the car of my dreams. I saw my car around 2 oclock in Cobb County. Somehow, I ended up on a wild goose chase with another car dealership in Conyers. I already had my paperwork from the dealership in Cobb, but I needed to find a Georgias Own. It was already 3:30. A quick Google search, and there was a Georgias Own less than 5 min away. When I arrived at the bank, I knew I was close to closing for the day, so I figured that it was no way anyone could help me so close to closing. I walked in, and it was your usual Friday bank crowd. A few people are in line, with 1 or 2 people waiting to see someone. I attempted to sign in, but for some reason, I was having an issue. Then I heard, "Can I help you?" I turned around, and it was Ms. Kennon, the bank manager. She invited me into her office, and I began to explain my situation. With a smile, she replied, "I will help you." That she did. I dont know how, but she was more excited about me getting a new car than I was. The time was well after 6:30, and her husband had called a few times, so I was waiting for her to say come back tomorrow and we can finish up the paperwork but she never said it. We engaged in a conversation that felt more like a spiritual journey than a conversation. I can go on and on, but I just wanted to thank Ms. Kennon and the whole Georgias Own family, because this was an amazing experience. She didnt finish the paperwork until around 8 oclock. I am soooo thankful. Georgias Own has been nothing but a blessing for me and my family. I am a real person. Im just sharing my testimony to help others who may be in need of a new bank home or just needed help like I did. I would recommend Georgias Own Credit Union Conyers location to anyone, even if its a little out of the way for you. Its close to an hour away from me, but its well worth the drive just to meet Ms. Kennon. Shes an amazing person.
