They helped my husband design the most stunning engagement ring — it’s everything I could have dreamed of and more. What made it even more meaningful is that they incorporated pieces from my mother-in-law’s jewelry, turning it into a true family heirloom that I’ll cherish forever. The staff was so thoughtful, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. When we needed wedding bands last minute (truly crunch time), they didn’t hesitate. They simply said, “We’ll do our best,” and then somehow made it happen. That’s just the kind of care and magic they bring. The quality of their work is unmatched, and their pieces are absolutely beautiful. My mother-in-law also gifted me a pair of earrings from them, and I’m completely obsessed. My fiancee had discovered this place while trying to get information about an engagement ring last year. Brett talked him through options, was very honest, and super helpful. So of course as we were searching for a place to purchase a wedding band, Decatur City Jewelers was our first choice. Brett gave us an honest perspective on what would be the best choice for my engagement ring. We were looking at a couple bands, and then he said he had a cool one in the back and came out with the perfect ring. He gave us a great price and it was literally such a simple process. He also cleaned my engagement ring and told us more about the history of the ring. It was so cool. And then my fiancee needed his grandfathers wedding band sized to his finger. Brett let us watch the whole process which was super interesting! He was honest about this process and what could happen, and it did end up breaking. However, Brett got in there and fixed it right up. You cant even tell! It looks perfect and even fits his hard-to-size finger. I am so happy we came here instead of some chain jewelry store. I didnt feel like I was being tricked or scammed here. It was a friendly environment. It is obvious that Brett knows what hes doing and he was kind and informative throughout the process.
