1 /5 Brian: Bait you with low prices and false promises, after 2 months they magically decided my defensive driving courses don’t qualify, and a accident that happened a year ago was apparently a surprise to them after signing the policy. I assure you they knew. Edit: They reached back out and apologized, however was informed they cannot in fact make the situation right. Thanks anyway Casey.

1 /5 Nicholas Keogh: Their prices for auto insurance weren’t even remotely competitive… then they tried pitching me a bundled life insurance policy which apparently “required” a face to face meeting down at their office, absolutely ridiculous! Especially when companies like Progressive offer the EXACT SAME coverage for one third the price!

2 /5 Dillon Hutchinson: I had auto coverage through this branch for 7 years. The folks inside were always the friendliest and quick to help, hence the two stars. The branch itself would get 5 stars if thats all this was, but Im going after the company in this review. After the near 7 years I had this auto coverage, many "rate increases" and a speeding ticket later, I had totaled a vehicle. First claim I ever made in my life. Guess what? I was dropped. 7 years as a customer. And all the thousands of dollars I threw at them, only to be cast aside because they had to pay out. Never again will I utilize Georgia Farm Bureau.

1 /5 Brock Manning: Long story short I’ve been with this company for close to 20 years. Never had a single auto claim. Last year I was forced to pay a full 6month premium on a car that was totaled (not at fault) and that we didn’t even have any more because “that’s the way it’s billed.” After several attempts to have the car removed from my insurance and repeated failures on multiple people in the office to complete the task requested, I am still waiting almost 8 months later to be refunded the premium I was forced to pay for a car I no longer even have. This place used to be great when Randall Jordan was there but I won’t give this place another dime. They actually owe me money.

1 /5 Until: I was the customer of Georgia farm bureau for many years. My great-grandfather was President of the company at 1 point and after all of this time, I finally had to switch insurance companies for information that may be helpful to people considering Georgia farm bureau to be there insurance company. I have provided it below Im in the middle of claiming a vehicle That has damages to the body wiring harness. I have been told through the claims adjuster she has reviewed the claim and she has submitted it to her superiors and their superiors. And despite my offering to take the vehicle to have a state inspection done to cover whether or not the vehicle is repaired and safe to drive according to the state, Georgia farm bureau is refusing to allow for me to have the vehicle repaired without forcing me to total it out. Its a state inspection Like you get for restoring or rebuilding a classic car. My agent told me that 9 times out of 10 even if a car has passed state inspection, that if it was a salvage title before the underwriters will not insure it. So that means if youve restored a car you will not be able to be insured by farm bureau. I offered to get a state inspection before having my car totaled Which it shouldnt be totaled at all at my own expense just so I can keep the car from switching over to a salvage title. But farm bureau is not allowing for me to do it. Beware customers I am still considering a lawsuit which I have a pretty good case against georgia farm bureau Because if a customer is being insured by georgia farm bureau who has ever replaced a body wiring harness apparently Georgia farm bureau according to the claims adjuster and her superiors superiors who reviewed my claim they are too afraid of electrical damage to allow for you to keep your vehicle. So if any customer Has replaced your body wiring harness at any point as I understand the very recorded conversation between my claims adjuster and myself then Georgia farm bureau will drop you as a customer. Because they do not want to insure a vehicle with any damage to a wiring harness , despite the harness being replaced Now I do not want to waste my time with attorneys. But Im going back and forth on that so I dont mind giving them a heads up. I just want them to fix the problem without switching my car over to a salvage title. Most insurance companies will do the payout without totaling the vehicle if it is under seventy five percent of the value of the vehicle, Im not sure what georgia farm bureaus policy is but for the work on the vehicle it is well below seventy five percent. Its also a fact they wont allow for a state inspection to keep it from going to a salvage title which causes way more problems because it devalues the value of your car permanently even if you get it switched to a rebuilt or restored title. Another thing to remember is they have a very annoying policy where you have to pay a twenty five dollar per Year membership fee to continue to be their customer. I switched to alfa insurance because Ive used them before and at the time they were the number one payout behind usaa. They are happy to ensure a restored vehicle. And they saved me four hundred dollars on my policy. I do not have an annoying membership fee.I cannot stay with the company that I may have to file suit against.
