1 /5 Kim Box: If you love someone please do not send them to this awful hospital. They will miss diagnosed you, lie, refuse to let you talk to a patient advocate, Doctors and administrators are incompetent here. The nurses were good and the hospital was clean like a 4 star hotel, but we were not there for a vacation. We were there with a life threatening illness. Astonishing how bad and inhumane complete lack of care for human beings. This hospital needs to be shut down.

5 /5 Rosemary Goetz: After getting out of ICU over night was put in a room. The nurses were fantastic. Very caring and concerned. Quickly got answers we asked. A pleasant stay for five days. The food on the other hand could use some help. Some was not edible and left to be examined. I brought up PBJ everyday for him.

1 /5 Florence Williams: My husband has late stage Alzheimers and was brought to the ER complaining of back pain and he had fallen. The ER dr ordered an exray and the radiologist noted that an MRI was needed. My husband was admitted. BUT the ER dr did not order an MRI Upon admittance, we were placed in room with another patient. My husband was disoriented and agitated. I asked for a private room and was told that there were none available. Which there were several empty rooms on the same floor. The night shift nurse was very dismissive and said that the pharmacy was closed and they would have to give my husband his Rexaulti in the morning. If you know anything about Alzheimers patients, it is important that they receive their medications as scheduled. I sent my sister to our home 25 miles away to get his medication. Meanwhile, I was told that I would not be allowed to stay with my husband. Although, I tried to explain that it would be easier for all parties if I was allowed to stay. When I asked for a recliner, Erica the night nurse said "no you dont get one". There were two CNAs, Beatrice and Vernetta who were assigned to him because he is a fall risk and they were excellent. My husband was discharged the next day, without the MRI being mentioned and now I have to find a way to get him loaded and back to the hospital for the MRI. Thus making more inconvenience and risk to my husband.

1 /5 Lady Bug: If I could give this a zero rating I would have!! This is the absolute worst experience of my life in this hospital! I went in to the ER several times and was treated so poorly it was horrible they treated me like I was just there looking for pain medicine and I was not at all-I was desperately needing help! Unfortunately I ended up having surgery there (twice in a months timeframe) which I was told was supposed to be fairly routine... and they butchered me completely! And the nursing staff their leaves more than what I can describe to be desired, most of them are mean, showing no compassion or empathy for what a patient is feeling or going through physically, they would walk away and leave the room while you were still talking to them or trying to, they would not help advocate information to the doctors for the patients, and a lot of them would even complain about their job- complain about having too many patients so they couldnt care for any of us, one nurse even lost my pain meds in the hallway on the way to my room and when she finally found them she came back and said "good thing I found them because I would have been in big trouble" - she had no concern for the fact that what if someone else found the medicine and perhaps it could have been a child visiting a patient they could have thought it was candy and ate it which could have cost them their life she had no concern of that part at all only that she might get in trouble! Also, they wouldnt even answer the "rapid response Bell" when you would ring it sometimes taken up to 20 minutes just to find out why you even rang the bell, when they finally would come in the room I remember saying to one of them "you know someone could die in that amount of time- I believe it is called rapid response for a reason" (they lacked on both words rapid and response!). (The only good news I had while I was there was Velva). I also dont know how this hospital has the rating of the "cleanest hospital" because it was absolutely not!. I found garbage left all under the reclining chair beverage bottles, candy, etc...they (housekeeping) did not move things when they came in to clean they just did a quick damp mop up and actually the floor was dirtier when they left then when they got in there. I would never recommend anyone I love to come to this hospital at all and I would not even recommend this hospital to someone I didnt love!! Even the food was horrible, I mean absolutely horrible! Please do yourself a favor and avoid coming here at all costs, it is definitely worth the trip to go to fort Pierce- Lawnwood hospital!!

5 /5 Julie Bastian: could not have been friendlier or more service oriented!!!! My doctor didnt send the right paperwork, everything was moved around so my appointments were reworked so I could have everything done before my second appointment was to even begin. So happy I found these girls!
