Jacob Lavoie Highly recommended! The first time we came in was to have a ring that we got from California Numismatic Funding off East Vista Wy. resized (from a 12 to a 7 or 8), cleaned and polished for the big day. John advised us about the condition of the ring and the mounts that the stones were in, we opted to just have it resized, cleaned & polished. Flash forward a bit and one of the stones fell out (our fault NOT Johns) so my wife stopped wearing it till we could afford to get it fixed. Flash forward to a couple weeks ago. We bring the ring in and ask John what we can do to have it fixed and change the center stone. He recommended that the matching stone that hadnt fallen out be replaced with a new one and same for the the one that had. He gave us options for the center, we settled on a sapphire CZ (my wife and I dont like diamonds). This time John fixed the two side stones mounts and the middle stones mounts, a cleaning & polish. The ring is now absolutely beautiful and my wife and I love it.

Julia Osmond The staff sets this jewelry store apart from all the rest. Unpretentious, knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating and helpful. I stopped in while window shopping with my 5 week old and they could not have made me feel more welcome. A great vibe in what is often a stuffy experience. Not only do awesome humans work here, they also carry a truly exceptional selection of jewelry with so many unique as well as classic styles. Absolutely worth a visit!

Dont4get2smile What a RARE find in the Ontario Mills Mall! A small, beautiful booth...owned by a super sweet and talented BLACK woman jeweler selling wonderful art. I was on my way to Oakleys near by to buy my husband some shades when I noticed the boutique store. I ended up buying a wonderful container to hold my husbands “cooking herbs” that has a nice wooden stopper and a wonderous colorful Geode right on top! It was very affordable; I wish I had an opportunity to buy more! Happy to help support a fellow African American’s Small Business in a sea on NOT African American Owned businesses in that HUGE mall. Next time you are in the area stop by and show some LOVE!!! :)

Katelyn Hill I loved my experience with J&L! My husband purchased some earrings from J&L for me for Christmas, but they werent quite my style, so I visited to exchange them. Molly was fantastic! She was friendly, fun, and very helpful. I spent a while trying on different pairs of earrings, and Molly never made me feel hurried or pressured. Normally I dont really like shopping, but I had such a great time! And I love my new earrings!

Kristin Maczko What a lovely shop and owner! I came in to get jewelry repaired. The owner advised me that while she could do the repair, it would be expensive relative to the inexpensive cost of the jewelry itself. She offered to do the repair if I wanted, and when I declined she took the time to do a free partial repair to get me up and running - so kind! We got to chatting, and I learned that she has owned the store for 50 years, and she makes the jewelry (and even the hanging artwork!) herself. The jewelry is unique and striking, and the owner is lovely. I will be back here the next time Im looking to buy some beautiful jewelry!
