Judy Zerafa I love the kindness of the staff at McCarty’s Jewelry. I had a number of costume jewelry necklaces that needed cleaning and asked if they would do so. I just went back today to pick them up, and was pleasantly surprised they were able to do such a great job; I was even more impressed that there was no charge! What a lovely gesture.

Makayla McSeveney Maria at the Ontario Mills Jared Vault location was amazing! She was so friendly from the moment we walked in, and extremely patient while we browsed a ton of different rings. My boyfriend & I were looking for my future engagement ring, and Maria was so helpful & knowledgeable every step of the way. She helped us find one that I absolutely loved! Even helped me get my necklace (previously purchased) cleaned & inspected while we were there. Truly could not have asked for a better sales woman/jeweler for our visit. Thank you Maria!!

Ruth Ann Barrett Must visit this shop in Santa Cruz. Sarah is top notch jewelry designer as well as a collector of objets dart which are not necessarily very pricey but you value for their beauty and craftsmanship. In addition to earrings I bought some wonderful Japanese incense, a small Asian inspired round wooden box with cover for my smaller earrings I wear frequently, and a long necklace to dress up some plain T’s I wear in the summer. I spent a good bit of time in the shop and enjoyed the conversation with Sarah as she re-strung one of her necklaces I inadvertently broke and which was a gift from a friend. Here are some pics of my “finds.” It took an hour to drive from the East Bay to enjoy the day at the beach to include, of course, a visit at the Salt Jewelry studio and then lunch!

Mary Lundberg This store is the mecca for vintage jewelry! There’s a wide assortment of sterling silver, estate and beautiful costume jewelry. The prices are fair and reasonable. It’s a collective, with six ladies, each with their own style of offerings! They are always friendly and helpful in finding the right gift or treat to myself. Lots of pictures and decorative vintage items as well. Best shop in downtown Santa Cruz by far!!
