My fiance and I were looking for an engagement ring, but we were having a hard time figuring out which were the right design and diamond cut with the many options out there. Online vendors seemed to have better prices, but we soon realized it was hard to tell how itd really turn out without seeing it in person, and wed eventually need to get it resized. So, we thought wed check out some stores to get a comparison.
I couldnt be happier I found this place via Yelp. Right when we walked in, Susie (works at the front desk) was extremely friendly and helpful! Since I didnt know what I wanted, she let me start by trying on as many styles as possible. I felt like she took out every ring! Once I narrowed it down, Joe helped me custom design my ring. He was AMAZING! Best communicator ever. Hed call or text me periodically to keep me updated, and it went through 4 revisions before he sent off the drawings to be made. Joe was stern on making sure the ring was exactly what I wanted, even though I felt bad for commenting that I wanted the leaves on the band a bit thinner, etc. And, hed make helpful comments such as letting me know that having a lower cage could hit against my finger (knowledge from creating jewelry for 40 years) if I went too low. He also added a lot of design work by hand all of the ring.
This spot has very fair prices and Joe is extremely honest. He actually refunded me $200 once everything was done, since the design needed less diamonds than was originally estimated. How great is that???!
All-in-all, I had the best experience at Levante. My engagement ring is exactly what I wanted and Joe finished the whole process in a few weeks (probably would have been sooner but I had small changes that I wanted). My fiance and I will definitely be going back to customize our wedding bands! Would highly recommend to anyone!
