5 /5 Thomson Ho: Having had my fair share of experiences with various ADs (some not so great), walking into Kerns Jewelers was honestly a huge breath of fresh air. Every time Im in the area, I make an effort to stop by and I always feel so welcome. Its not just a store—they really make you feel like part of the family, even though I am a newer client. This past weekend was no exception and truly set the bar high for me. I would expect nothing less now, and it feels like I found my new home. I had first learned about Kerns Jewelers as a sponsor for the local Hillsborough Concours (Im a huge car nut), and with many of my friends and clients being active attendees and participants over the last few years, I knew I was in the right place. Josette, Mingyi, and Eric are absolutely fantastic. Super knowledgable and respectful team. The entire staff is incredibly hospitable each time I pay a visit. Eric especially went out of his way to meet with me during my last visit this past weekend, and I never once felt any pressure during any previous visits. The team made it super easy to sell a few old pieces I wasnt wearing anymore. The service is truly top-notch and unparalleled. What really stood out was how their genuine interest in my needs led to an easy and natural conversation that felt less like a transaction and more like a real friendship. I felt they took my inquiries seriously and noted everything accordingly. As a business owner (albeit not in a relevant industry), I know how important it is to build genuine relationships with people. The way Eric’s team has conducted business - they’ve completely nailed it. The service was so commendable that I cant even imagine going anywhere else now. I even got to try on some of the few pieces that I liked. Its easy to see why all my friends, colleagues, and even clients speak so highly about this place. Im delighted I found my home and look forward to building a long term relationship with the Kerns family. Im also excited to pay their new Patek boutique in the city a visit one of these days. 5 /5 Mike C: I was shopping for a new luxury watch in Burlingame and Kerns was on my list of places to go as they carried Rolex and Tudor, two of the watches I was interested in. After checking out two other watch stores in Burlingame, were unfortunately I wasn’t impressed with the service or being ignored by employees, I headed to Kerns. Was greeted at the door and asked if I had an appointment, I was unaware of the need for an appointment, but after explaining that I was interested in Tudor watches I was happily let in and guided to a team member named Nick. I explained to Nick what I was looking for and he quickly showed me the type of watch I was wanted. I found Nick to be very knowledgeable about many watch brands, even ones Kerns did not carry. I ended up buying a Tudor watch, the watch was sized while Nick provided me with refreshments and good conversation. He also Helped me pick out some potential Necklaces for my wife. He set them aside while I got my wife. Upon returning Nick was unavailable so Joesette helped us. Just like Nick, she engaged us in conversation to get to know us and our style as it pertained to jewelry. She took her time showing us many interesting items, she the proceeded to show us a ring that my wife loved. She also showed us another watch that had just come in that was still in the vault. Her idea was that it would look great on me as it was a larger watch. Well, it did, so we left with two watches and are going back for a ring after it is sized. I would recommend Kerns for their outstanding service, friendly staff, great selection and a stress-free shopping experience. They have a great selection of old estate jewelry also.
