1 /5 scott: This is a follow up to my previous post. I went to redeem my jewelry loans. When I went in one of the guys working, slid a piece of paper across the counter and asked if this was me. I looked at the paper and saw that it was the original review that I wrote. I said yes that is me. He asked why I had to write a bad review. I told him that everything I wrote in there was the truth. Not only was he bothered by the review, but the other three men in there were also bothered, and each one had something to chime in at one point or another. I asked them if they were looking for a conflict. I redeemed my items and I will never ever go back to that Pawnshop again. And I will continue to write bad reviews and continue to tell people not to go there. They had a reply to my initial review and said that my calculations were misleading. That is not the truth, and I encourage all of you who go to inland jewelry and loan to check with other local pawnshops afterwards and see what their prices are. Pomona Pawnshop took in my loan and gave me much more money as well as 60 days zero interest. And let me clarify that they did say that they would possibly increase my loan if I redeem the item and then put it back in pawn. However, they failed to inform you that prior to them making that statement I asked one of them there (the clean, cut one with the tattoos all over) if he would increase my loan and he said to me that that was a good loan and that was all they could do. But after I wrote the review now they say they could increase the loan. Coincidence? My thinking is that if they could increase the loan, then why didn’t they give me more on the initial loan? What doesn’t come out in the wash, comes out in the rinse. This is not the only bad review they’ve received. They fail to realize that they need us much more than we need them. Without customers they have nothing. Without them, I have numerous shops all around the area.

Another follow up to their reply on the 2nd post……
I don’t know where they are getting the “threats” from because I’ve never stated anything even close to that. All I was stating was my opinion about how they conduct business and how they treat people. There are no fake accounts as my name is clearly stated in my post; the same exact name that they have on file and in their computer system. Rather than getting defensive, they should’ve just said that they were wrong. That is what real people do. I would’ve gladly written a great review if there was reason to. And because of my review, I am no longer able to do business with them. Hmmm
