1 /5 Hannah O’Neal: My now husband found a ring here that he wanted for my engagement ring, he ordered it with emeralds and he explained that he needed it as soon as possible as we were eloping, he was assured of a 4 week turn around. It ended up being over 6 weeks. We were married by the time it came in. And then when I tried it on the first time it was not even SIZED. I’m a 4.5 and it was a size 9… I don’t know how you even get that. We’re over an hour drive away and when we went in to size my finger they made it sound like it was our fault and that they were doing us a favor by resizing the ring for free. They don’t size there and had to send it to the lab so it took another two weeks before I could actually wear it. The first time I put it on I noticed the emerald was loose too. There are parts of the ring that are not the rose gold that we asked for, instead a silvery color. We decided it not worth the headache to try and deal with the shop again. We just wanted nothing to do with them. It’s been long enough now that I don’t frankly care anymore and want to deter people from this business. They were just a whole mess. It’s a tourist trap and it’s only worth buying a piece off the table. Don’t do custom work, and don’t expect him to exert any energy for customer satisfaction once you pay. Very kind and nice and will bend over backwards until they have the money and then it’s like a different person. Didn’t even answer our calls or give us a new timeline when it was weeks late. Just go anywhere else, not worth the risk.

1 /5 Karrin Saliger: I bought a lab diamond tennis bracelet from here this summer and when I brought it to my jeweler in Canada to get links taken out, he tested it and told me it was cubic zirconia and definitely NOT lab diamonds as I was told when I bought it. This is extremely disappointing and shady.

5 /5 Josh Lee: I was visiting Palm Springs from Vancouver, Canada. I stopped by and asked if I could see the Rolex Bubble-back I saw by the window-side. The owner was super nice - he knew I had no intention to buy anything, but he let me check out other watches (Omega Constellation, gold Bubbleback and rose gold Bubbleback). Giving this store a 3.3 star rating on Google is unjust. Anyone who had a proper encounter with the owner and the employees will know how friendly the place is. I hope to buy a Bubbleback from this store some time in the future.

5 /5 Abigail Olvera: Recently purchased a beautiful pearl ring. They have an amazing selection of jewelry at prices that are more than reasonable. Both of the gentlemen behind the counter were very helpful and patient with all my questions and with showing me their pieces but also knew when to let me wonder and admire all they had. So happy I came here! Highly recommend.

1 /5 Phyllis Morken: Nov 13, 2024 took in some coins and a variety of jewelry to sell to this business. Took Justin several phone calls to dad, Mark and ? to figure things out as in how much to give us. Said we would have to wait a half hour so he could get the money then decided to give us a cheque (just under $700.00). Said we would have to wait an hour to cash it. Told him we would wait until the next day. November 14 went to Wells Fargo to cash the cheque. Cashier could not put it through and due to confidentiality could not give me a reason and told me to contact the business. Phoned Justin who told me something must have gone through the account they forgot about and he would phone Mark and get back to me. He called back and said mom was going to the bank to “fix” it and wait an hour to give her time. We went back to the Wells Fargo and they did indeed cash the cheque. HOWEVER, they charged me $7.50 to do so telling me it was a business account and that is the way it was set up. Person cashing has to pay the fee NOT the business. We were going to go to Jewels of the Desert to get the $7.50 but decided not to waste more of our time. Justin phoned to advise it was okay to go cash the cheque. My husband answered my phone and told Justin we cashed the cheque but were charged $7.50. He could care less and when my husband said we will come by to be reimbursed ..after a very long pause, Justin said…you can do that and hung up.
