She spent the time to show me all the different sapphires to make sure I got to pick the color I wanted. I also got an emerald ring for my mom and she customized that ring as well to make it exactly like we wanted. Megan truly knows what she’s doing and will be honest about pricing and quality. No matter what your price range she does her best to make what you want happen. If you are looking for excellent quality jewelry with people you can trust then Van Gundy Diamonds is the place to go!

Arnet Jonuelle Tuazon Cute little store in Walnut Creek that I discovered when my friend invited me to a Yelp event there. It was nice they partnered up with a local charity so part of the proceeds went to training therapy dogs. The jewelry is beautiful, the staff was friendly, and I got to make a custom necklace and one of the staff made it for me. The prices range from ~$50-$100+. This store is in a plaza so there is a parking garage nearby, the first couple hours I think are free.

I had a vintage 1930s ring resized, and she was thorough in her assessment of the re-sizing to ensure it was done safely to protect the opals. Turn around time was quick and the pricing was very reasonable. I’m a vintage and antique jewelry collector, and my experience with jewelers in our area has been a bit varied in terms of professionalism, expertise, etc. Cynthia is a gem (pun intended) and a true asset to have in our community—thank you, Cynthia!!!
