1 /5 Kaitlyn Williamson: I would definitely not recommend Geico to anyone seeking recommendations for auto insurance. After spending an exorbitant amount of time on the phone with customer service, and being reassured by two different agents that my claim was fully covered, and the auto body shop having my husband’s car for nearly a week waiting to begin the work, Geico at the very last second informed me that my claim wouldn’t be covered. We’ve wasted so much time with the car sitting at the shop and so much time going back and forth with them on the phone, and they’ve been nothing short of a nightmare. I’m not sure what kind of business can get away with telling a customer TWICE that something is covered and then just randomly backing out at the last second but it’s certainly not one that I’ll continue giving my money to. Now I have the pleasure of spending the day searching for new auto insurance because this isn’t a matter of policy, it’s a matter of failing to deliver on a promise that was made by TWO different employees and a “manager” stepping in and reneging at the last second. This company is unreliable and dishonest, AT BEST.

1 /5 Stephanie Yeager: GEICO is the worst insurance company I have ever worked with. I filed one claim and the insurance adjuster can’t even get it right. He has messed everything up and it’s been over 2 months now with no word from him or his supervisor. They don’t respond to voicemails or emails. I will be leaving GEICO as soon as I get this claim handled. I’ve had enough of their terrible customer service.

1 /5 Dalila Chavez: Very inconvenient when you are active duty military and have to consistently PCS, and geico doesn’t work well with that.they will hold you liable of all damages if your new quote (state to state) doesn’t generate immediately . I had a horrible experience, I would say if you’re military go elsewhere progressive , USAA, not geico.

1 /5 JuliAnne Kropf: GEICO sent me a bill, 3 months into my 6 month policy. The paperwork they sent said it was due to the driving record. However, when we spoke to them on the phone, the agent claimed we made a policy change. Either way, its a shady practice. Im currently shopping for new car insurance.
