I was gifted a very special medal after my grandma passed away a couple of weeks ago and needed to get it reinforced since its a 60+ year old piece of jewelry and the ring where the necklace goes through was thinning. I looked all over San Diego to find the perfect place where theyll treat it with so much care since its such a big piece for me, its an heirloom. I talked to Wayne, brought him the medal and he was super honest and explained to me what he was going to do to it, he was clear about the risks and possible outcomes after treating the medal but assured me he will take care of it and Ill be happy. Something about his energy gave me the peace of mind that even if theres a risk for darkening he would do his absolute best to prevent it. He put a hook where the new necklace could pass through and honestly he did magic. I cant even describe what he did because it feels like magic. Well, what can I say? I cried when I saw the end result. He brought a 60+ year medal back to life! Thank you Wayne.

LAW M Scott does an excellent job with his artwork. Creating masterpieces and really tailoring to each of his guests wishes. Im really happy with the piece he sized and finished for me from the 1920s. He is a local artist and behind the scenes creates one of a kind pieces for your family to cherish.

Marcel Montemayor Caro is a Master Craftsman jeweler "not a salesman". So his advice is what you want to hear and youll be grateful for it. He made my fiancée a spectacular custom wedding ring set based on a few reference photos we liked. The design came out way better than imagined. There has been many compliments about the ring. Caro suggested having six prongs to securely hold the main diamond; which looks beautiful and gives us peace of mind knowing it wont fall out. I definitely recommend having him expertly size the ring for that perfect fitment the rings created were a custom size between 5 & 5-1/4 for that perfect non-spinning fit. We couldnt be happier and Im thankful that we have such a beautiful ring for our lifetime. Just drop by and talk to him; you wont regret it.

I found them years ago by chance and have been returning since with nothing but the best experiences. I trust them with all of my jewelry alterations and fixes, and although I have not purchased any pieces directly they would be my first stop if I were looking for something new or custom. Charlie Squire Lovely and super helpful experience! My (now) fiancé proposed with an 115-year-old antique ring he had purchased in Berlin, and it needed to be resized. Peter was able to both resize the ring and identify some structural issues that were corrected. Everything was clear, done quickly, and even came in under the price estimate! Will certainly be returning the next time I am in need of a jeweler.

Paige Simmons My finance came across this shop to pawn off some old jewelry for a new ring for when we get married. We had a family heirloom marriage band that we need a diamond to fit . We went to all major ring shops and jewelry stores with non of them being able to accommodate this set we had. Mid valley pawn took a look and the owner suggested he talked to his guy. Upon waiting they in fact able to find me the diamond I wanted and customized the set to fit perfectly! Im so happy that we chose this shop bc they made my dreams come true.
