2 /5 Esther Davis Dodge: When our home suffered several water losses and a house fire and we put in claims for each. We needed help and didnt know any better. Our insurance company dropped us on June 8th 2022.
I started working with Brian McNaughton at Insurance Guys to find a new provider. He advised that we submit an application to the Washington FAIR Plan. He helped us do that. We had an inspection, and were denied because we needed to submit build back plans and a completion date. Had Brian understood the requirements better we could have avoided this step.
It took months to acquire the build back plans and completion date, but when I received those I emailed them over to Brian so we could submit a new application to WA FAIR. That was on October 21st, 2022.
Since then I have followed up with him in emails and phone messages on Oct 24th, Nov 8th, Nov 11th, Nov 15, Dec 6, Dec 9, etc...but he didnt respond. Nothing. Once a woman, whom I assumed was the receptionist, picked up and said that he was on the other line. I left a message with her, but he never got back to me.
I even had Sharon, over at the WA FAIR Plan office give him a call to see if she could get him to answer the phone. She reported back to me that he answered the phone and he told her he would give me a call that same day, but he never did.
I have decided to find another agent, because his lack of customer service is causing our home to not be insured, putting our home at risk. I cant wait for Brian any longer. Because of Brians lack in responding we have needlessly been exposed and with out home insurance for two months!
I request that he give a legitimate explanation and an apology for ignoring me.
