1 /5 Sarah Ruiz: Terrible insurance agency! Informed them that I wanted to renew my full coverage car insurance. They did so immedietly...when I asked them how much I was getting charged, there was no reply. I figured the monthly charge woudnt be far off from my previous payments. I then receive a document in the mail on the 27th of december, stating my charges over the next 3 months...one of them being over 600.00 for 1 month. I immedietly told them i couldnt afford to make these payments. Courtney, my normal insurance agent was not available so they had me working with a women name Christine. She was hard to reach and rarely returned my calls. She would take days to get back by email. At one point she was on vacation. I was emailing back n forth with her for days. She had said she was going to see what she could do for me since my monthly charge was way more than i use to pay. Days passed and I felt like nothing was happening. I felt like that my concerns could have been broken down and figured out in a day. Since thats what geico did for me over the phone within minutes. In the end farwest insurance ended up charging me 600+, refunded me back 400 and charged me 200+ for 15 days. The lack of communication and customer service resulted in me being charged for insufficient funds in my account and I had to wait 17 days for my refund. I asked to speak to an owner or manager on the the 18th of January and still havent heard from anyone. I suggest to anyone that needs insurance to go through geico. They offered me an insurance policy that was more than half the amount that was forced on me by farwest. I cant believe I was charged for days of me either waiting for an insurance agent to get back from vacation and her lack of carelessness.
