1 /5 Vivian D.: A truly appalling experience with this vendor. As I approached the stand, the owner was preoccupied talking with a couple of girls that were there prior to my arrival. His demeanor with them was pleasant as he encouraged them to try on whatever they wanted. He made small talk with them and called them “pretty girls” and asked them what they were studying in school. He didn’t greet or acknowledge me, which was fine as I saw some rings I liked and was trying them on. As I was trying on rings, the owner said to me “if you touch, you have to buy”. I was a little confused and unsure if he was just making a joke or being serious, but his attitude when talking to me was drastically different from the customers before me. I’m not sure what I did wrong since the girls next to me were trying on rings too. Confused, I just stood there trying to decipher whether to laugh it off or leave. He continued to tell me not to waste his time. Bewildered, I left and confirmed with my friend that was with me if that interaction came off as I perceived it. She validated my experience and was just as shocked as I was. I gladly went to another vendor and purchased a ring there.

He is always so kind and cheerful. His jewelry is beautiful and he will size the ring to your size in-shop hes great. Ive come here multiple times, I love this place.

I bought my first ring from Sam over four years ago and have worn it every single day- it’s still in perfect condition, looking exactly as it did the day I bought it. Since then I’ve bought several more rings from Sam, and have had the same amazing experience every time!! Not only are his rings high quality, but also low price and tailored individually to fit your finger. I’ve been so impressed by his customer service and lovely personality every visit. I highly recommend Sam to anyone in the area!!

1 /5 Mia Doan: Incredibly rude owner. I was waiting for the crowd to clear out from his booth so I could look at some rings. When I finally got close enough, another customer was blocking the section I was interested in so I patiently waited some more. As I was browsing the rings, the owner told me to only look at the rings and not touch them because it was annoying him (even though he was letting other customers do the same). Seems pretty unreasonable to ask a customer to buy a ring without trying it on. When I told him that I was still shopping, he said that there were many other booths I could look at (mind you I had only been here for about 5 minutes) and seemed eager for me to leave. At this point, I felt extremely unwelcome and didnt want to purchase something from someone who was so hostile towards me. As I left, the owner said "dont waste my time." Unbelievable! Definitely take your business somewhere else, I highly recommend Light Being Jewels (such a helpful and friendly owner).
