1 /5 Jenny lee: My claim for a 2025 Tesla Model Y has been delayed by Progressive for over a month.
I submitted multiple repair estimates — including from Tesla and two other certified shops — but only received a basic preliminary estimate that doesn’t even cover the cost of parts. The adjuster has refused to disclose the liability coverage limit of the at-fault party.
I was warned that I might exceed the policy limit, which left me afraid to start repairs, since I may have to pay out of pocket.
My assigned adjuster is:
Randi Balch
Claims Generalist Associate
Progressive Direct Insurance Company
I’ve already filed complaints with the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner and the Better Business Bureau. I’ve also contacted my state senator.
If this continues without resolution, I will move forward with legal action in small claims court.
This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I hope this helps others make an informed decision.
If this matter is fully resolved, I will remove this review. But if not, it will remain here as a reminder of how this company treated a legitimate claim.
