1 /5 Abby Terry: We had Newport Alarm monitoring our store. We had someone take over an hour to break in (as verified by our surveillance video) and the alarm triggered on the keypad but never sent signals to the monitoring station. Even when the burglar entered the store it still never sent to the monitoring company! The owner refused to take any responsibility for this failure of the system and insisted nothing was wrong with it. There was confirmation on the panel that the alarm was set but it still failed to send! There were no power outages or bad weather etc that evening that would have caused the system to fail. They refused to compensate us for our losses or help pay for our insurance deductible. Their response was to offer an upgrade to our system and then sent us a bill for it for $300. They offered to cover the cost of the extra monitoring fee for 2 months...a whole $30 worth of compensation for a much bigger loss. We were not treated as though they valued us as customers and didnt really care about keeping our business. Very disappointed with this company and will not be recommending them to any of our customers.

5 /5 Jacob Armstrong: Great Service! I had read some reviews on some other companies like ADP and I was skeptical but I was amazed at the wonderful service I received from Newport Alarm. I replaced a door in my house so I had to add a new sensor. The sensor was received on Friday so I called to inform them that when the return on Monday I will need them to add the new sensor. I was surprised to receive a call Saturday morning from Jason at Newport Alarm, the same fella who installed the system, who walked me through adding the new sensor in less than 5 minutes. Its not everyday you find a company so dedicated to there customers. Thank you!!

1 /5 Pam Dickman: This morning my dog jumped up and activated my emergency alert pendant hanging around my neck at about 4:00 a.m. The pendant activated your box and it announced after about a minute that an emergency call was in progress. However, no live person ever answered at the monitoring center that you use (in Utah?). This is not a first for poor service. Weeks ago I inadvertently hit the button when getting up from bed, and the response time from the monitoring center they use was also very poor. I actually did mention it to them at the time. At least I did finally get a live body to finally respond and ask me if I needed help. You genuinely need to use another monitoring center, because this one will cost lives with their poor service. Vulnerable seniors and disabled people are counting on them and paying your company for peace of mind and safety. For this reason, and the fact that this monitoring service has been going downhill for some time, I have to rate your company a one star. If there had been a real emergency, I would be laying on the floor in need of help or dead.

5 /5 Sunni Jeffers: Weve had a system installed by Newport Alarm for two years now, and it is working well. Our nephew accidentally set it off once and we got a call right away, so we know it is working. It gives us great peace of mind.
