2 /5 marie d: We have been clients of Progressive for over 30 years. We started in the 1990s in Hawaii, moved to Utah, and then back home to Washington state. Our small-town branch here was very good, you could call and talk to an agent, or walk in to to sign up a new vehicle.
Our policies were transferred to a nearby branch of Progressive when our town branch closed, and we were sent to the Leavitt Group in Everett, WA for several years. An agent from there got in touch with us yearly, to check if we had any changes, questions or needed help.
A few years ago, our policies were transferred again to a branch several miles away, but we were not notified of this, and then the only time we talked with them was if I called with a policy question or change. I was never, and I do mean never, able to get a same-day answer, but an agent would call me back the next day. We also never got notification about policy updates, or coverage changes - until it was time to renew and the updated paperwork came in the mail.
I have been slowly transferring all of our policies (7 motorcycles, 2 autos, and our home), and a funny thing...as I have been calling to cancel our coverages, not once was I asked why, even though we were requested to sign an affidavit that we knew we were cancelling our vehicle policy.
This request to leave a review is the first time weve been asked about our experience with the Leavitt Group, and we would answer: Not very good. Just okay, maybe, but definitely not the excellent, friendly service we got with our local, in-town branch.
