5 /5 Felix Espinoza: By far one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a jewelry store. The owner/gemologist was very knowledgeable, welcoming, and generous. Although my jewelry project was a small one, I was treated as a valued costumer. Additionally, Kim Khap Gems & Jewelry went above and beyond the call and completed my project the same day! I’m wishing God’s blessings over this establishment.

5 /5 Patrick Weddington: I contacted Kim Khaps about making a custom ring for me. This was to build what i call a Memory Ring. The ring material consisted of gold donated from my family some from my father who had passed away in 2019, the stone is Mahogany obsidian that i pickup in glass butte Oregon rock hunting with my dad in 2005. Kims cut and polished the stone beautifully and the design was based off my dads ring that was made by Kim Khap in the 1980s. The inscription was to celebrate the completion of my Graduation from CWU and a reminder of Key OHMS law equation. I told the designer that i was in no hurry on a delivery date and checked in every couple weeks to see on progression of the build. From order to delivery six to seven weeks but keep in mind i told them that time was not an issue so this is not a good judge on a set delivery time. The quality is excellent and only had to have resized due to i gave ring measurements from the wrong ring finger. I am very happy with quality and look of the ring.

1 /5 Katrina Wright: My boyfriend bought me an Ellensburg Blue ring from Kim Khap in September 2019. In January 2020 the band broke into two pieces. Just snapped. No amount of wear should make metal snap in such a way after just a few months. When I brought the ring to Kim Khap for it to be fixed he charged me and made it look horrible. He thickened it in a very ugly way and the hammer marks are visible no matter where you look at it. When I picked up the ring there was black marks all over the gem and it looked disgusting. I asked him to clean it off. He took it away for a minute and brought it back... better but still dirty. After three times of having him "clean" the ring I gave up and left. Now the ring turns my finger green and there is no longer the 925 stamp. I will have another jeweler create a new setting as soon as possible. I have bought hundreds of dollars worth of Blues from Kim Khap and I will never go back. It is unfortunate that he has the market so cornered and that has caused him to lack skill and passion for creating quality work.

I have had two rings customized at this point, Feng was an absolute pleasure to work with, and was courteous enough to overnight ship the ring to me in Kansas City. Will refer everyone I know here.

5 /5 Dan Selski: Feng & his dad are local owners who run this place with heart for their customers. Genuinely honest, compassionate family. Had bought a few necklaces and earrings from them for daughter and girlfriend. Went in for engagement ring a couple years ago and realized they specialize in custom orders. Feng can get just about anything and has great computer software for previewing what you want to order. I absolutely could not believe the diamond size (and emerald cut and beautiful, classy setting) he was able to get for my relatively low budget. No haggling to try to sell me on more, more, more like most chain-jewelers do. He stayed with my budget, and got me way more ring than I would have imagined. My now-wife of 2 years was super happy with it (& still is!) Should mention this was the new lab-grown diamond. Of course we went back to him for our wedding bands. When I put together a complex rose and white gold band for myself, Feng cautioned me that it was getting expensive and could not be re-sized (due to nature of combined golds). Fully forewarned and informed, I ended up getting it AND PAYING LESS than the original quote. Im super happy with the way it came out! Cant say enough good things about this family business. Oh! Heres one more - years before all this, I had gone in with a relatively cheap pocket watch that needed a battery and some tweaking on the cover to get latch to close. Fengs father did both fixes while I was there, and wouldnt take payment for his service on a watch that Id bought somewhere else!
