1 /5 Nick Gardner: I was mostly pleased with this insurance agent. However, we started having issues with our auto-pay being paid and then being returned to my bank, then pulled again after the due date, and then getting a late fee. Evie said that she would handle it. But she never did. After a few times of this I stopped emailing her and started calling. Eventually we decided to take our account off of autopay so that we would pay it early and not have this issue anymore. Then, the week before Christmas, I got a call from her receptionist saying that we owed 600 plus dollars which is double my insurance payment. Theyve tried to wiggle their way out and around what they did and say that it was a beginning fee that they didnt charge in the beginning and made me pay at the end. However I never agreed to this and I was never notified about this and I never signed any agreement pertaining to this. Then she told me if I dont pay it by the 6th they will end my insurance. I would have been glad to just pay what I owe up front if that was the case. However at this point I feel that their lack of communication and customer service has left a very bitter taste. Im insuring two new cars, a new sports bike, and renters insurance. We left Geico because of the unjustified rate increases. Unfortunately, now we wish that we had stayed because this particular insurance agent has been a nightmare since we signed.
Either way, make your own decisions, but be on the lookout for this kind of predatory behavior.
