Ms. Corazon 2 years later...! I had a fantastic experience working with AFS overall. Jacqueline assisted me with closing out my debt management plan today, and I was able to thank her for all of the education and support that AFS provided over the past two years. I highly recommend working with this organization. ‐------- (original review below) Kathleen was an absolute godsend. She helped me come up with a budget, some very good solutions for controlling and preventing future debt, and to top it all wife, she humanized the conversation so that it felt like budgeting at a kitchen table with a Mom or a good friend. She is a fantastic communicator and works hard to help you understand the process so that it is streamlined and very positive. I highly recommend Kathleen to anyone who needs help digging themselves out of a bit of a financial mess, or just learning how to budget better and live better. She is so good at giving people hope!

Eve Henrichsen We dont recommend this firm. We used them for about 5 years for our retirement accounts as a young couple starting out and we kept getting passed off to different financial planners. I guess they werent too interested in smaller accounts. I feel like we got burned by them because A.They were on Dave Ramseys recommended provider list (the reason we chose them) and didnt stick to his qualifications and ideals and B. They took 5% of all the money we put in at the beginning and then years later, suddenly decided they were going to take another annual percentage on top of that if we wanted to continue to get any actual personal management on our accounts and financial consulting. So basically, wed pay twice for the investments we had already put in. Good deal for them, bad deal for us. The investments were fine, but the service and cost of products are why I am giving a low rating.
