3 /5 Tanya Zubova: I’m in love with the ring itself — the design is beautiful and the craftsmanship initially looked great. However, after less than a year of gentle wear, the setting became loose, and the ring kept spinning on my finger, despite being the correct size.
We scheduled an appointment to fix the setting and, based on the store’s advice, decided to install sizing beads to improve the fit. The beads weren’t covered under warranty, so we paid for them out of pocket. We clearly expressed that we preferred to pick up the ring in store once the work was complete.
About a month later, we started receiving FedEx delivery notices on our door several days in a row. I hadn’t ordered anything, so it wasn’t clear what it was — until I called the store and found out they had shipped the ring without informing us. That was frustrating, especially after we’d made our pickup preference clear. I had to rearrange my schedule just to be home for the delivery.
When the ring finally arrived — surprise — the sizing beads we paid for were never installed. While the setting itself was fixed, the job was only half done.
Disappointed by the communication and follow-through, especially considering how much we valued the piece and trusted the store.
