I love my VVS1 D clarity natural diamond 1.51 carat. I sound like an ad, I know but I did a lot of research on diamonds beforehand. No pun intended. Original Review: Kyle knew exactly what I was talking about when I said VVS1 D clarity diamond and helped me choose a carat of diamond that shows off the Emerald cut. Kay "jewelers" tried to sell me a VVS1 I clarity diamond and Kyle sat and listened to me complain and was super nice even though he had to help choose a diamond and the settings. He gave me beautiful choices and listened. Now Im just waiting for them to set it and send it. Kay jewelers almost completely ruined valentines day but Kyle at Blue Nile saved it. Thank you Kyle!

We were shopping for an engagement ring around Bellevue area with disappointment in many "popular" shops and literally stepped into Blue Nile without much expectation at the last moment right around closing time. Michael Nguyen, despite us visiting near closing time, listened to our needs carefully and gave us genuine advice on how to choose a right diamond for our situation and budget (such as what are the most important C options we should prioritize, which options we should not overspend on, which settings are recommended, etc). Not only he is extremely knowledgeable about diamonds, I can 100% vouch that he really cares for customers and genuinely enjoys helping customers to pick right diamonds and takes pride in it. We had such a great experience with Michael at Blue Nile in Bellevue Square, so we instantly decided that we WILL come back and purchase a diamond ring from Blue Nile (again, Blue Nile was not in the list of options we initially had). As a result, I was able to pick one of the best quality diamond from Blue Nile website at almost fraction of the price what I would have paid in other shops, picked up the ring, and proposed to my girl friend successfully!
