1 /5 Chuck L: We had a less than pleasant experience yesterday.
My fiance and I walked in, fully intent to both purchase rings for our wedding this fall. We expressed that interest to the sales person who approached us. My fiance pointed out a ring she liked to look at closer. After, the sales person made no effort to show us more or similar styles. Mind, no one else was in store as far as customers go.
We browsed the store on our own, my fiance openly saying she was interested in some styles, with no attention from the sales person. We eventually come to the Men’s rings and I had to ask for the sales person to join us, as she had sat down to chat with a coworker. I asked about one I liked and She said it would be 6-10 weeks to order. I asked if there was a rush delivery option, to which she said no. No effort was made to show me other styles, similar rings, anything.
It honestly felt like she treated us as if we couldn’t either afford rings or if we weren’t serious. So we left without a word from anyone in store as we went. That sales person cost them a $10,000 sale.
We decided to go across the street to Kindlers where we were treated with attention and respect and found some beautiful rings they ordered for us. Save your time and frustration, go see a jeweler who cares about what you want.
