DiAnne Perkins I have found a jeweller very much worth keeping. Tanco Creations does amazing repairs and sells beautiful jewelry. The staff are all friendly, understanding of what you want or need & very helpful in obtaining the results you are looking for. I enjoy doing business with them.

The staff is so kind and helpful and have been amazing from cleanings, to repurposing broken heirloom jewelry to ensure we can still have our treasured keepsakes, to helping us pick out the most perfect wedding rings. Will always come here for every need.

Dashiell Allen-Smith This place is… something. First of all, I visited late May of 2022, on a Saturday. Anyway, if you want to go shopping, I do not think that this will be your place. Macy’s closed in 2017, Palais Royal closed in 2020 alongside Sears, and Dillards closed in 2006. I should also add that the food court has been vacant for years. Heck, the Claire’s, the one really decent-looking store, closed a while before I arrived, not to mention that a third of the mall (the playground and the empty hallways towards Macy’s) have been closed since the pandemic. However, despite ALL of these flaws, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The styling, though slightly refurbished roughly 5 or so years ago, still looks similar to how it did when it opened in 1982. The Palais Royal still has it’s logo in place, but so does the Sears. So if you enjoy dated architectural design, I would highly recommend. EDIT: I went back during Thanksgiving week, and the place is not doing too hot. The only name brand store, which I believe was a FootAction, has closed since I last went last May. Just a fare warning, the area is not the safest (certainly no Greenspoint or Sharpstown, but still enough that you should be more careful), and that the old Macy’s may have a homeless person or two. Don’t worry, as the mall itself should be fine, since the only people there are getting exercise. Only go after dark if you know what you are doing. In conclusion, if you want to go, do so sooner rather than later since I doubt the longevity of this mall. EDIT 2: I added more photos from Thanksgiving Week 2022, this time from my camera, as I forgot to put the photos of it on here. The new photos do not reflect the current state of the mall, again as they are from a couple of months ago.

Shevawn Beltz Susan Robinson has made a customer for life. I had a diamond fall out of my wedding ring and was looking for a place with in-house repair. It’s an older ring and knew it wouldn’t be an easy fix. Being new to the Tyler area and particularly careful about who would handle my ring with the utmost care, this team and staff immediately put me at ease. Matt, the technician is a gem on this earth! His skills and attention to detail is beyond exceptional. Getting my ring back, took my breath away and brought me to tears. It was brought back to its original form and looked better than the day I received it. They’re personable, compassionate and experts in their field. I’ll forever be grateful for the wonderful staff at Susan Robinson.

Gretchen Darden Flawless diamonds is the only place I would go for fine jewelry! I’ve had two ear piercings here and picked out beautiful diamonds to go in each one. Florencia will also be redesigning my wedding ring and I can’t wait to see the results. Highly recommend!
