1 /5 Zebulon Long: It appears I am not the only one who has been the subject of unwarranted harassment by marketing mail from this office. I have been receiving circulars from this office for months, if not years. I finally started calling the office. After speaking with someone extensively on 12/26/24, I was advised my name had been submitted for removal, but to give it 30 days. Yet on 2/17, another was received. I called again and this time spoke with "Joe". I patiently explained to him the issue, my prior conversations and inquired why the removal had not taken effect. He began claiming they did not send these out but they came from an unaffiliated, third-party marketing agency or corporate. I inquired how it could have the Tim Sherwood name, photo, and address and not be instigated by the agency. At this point, Joe promptly and unceremoniously hung up on me. I called back, Joe picked up again with a less-than-professional demeanor which I pointed out and told him that I would no longer play "nice guy" and would file a complaint with the US Postal Inspector if this continues. Until this point, he did not even have my name or address, but took it down and grudgingly acquiesced to sending them up the chain.
What kind of agency employs this kind of people and resorts to such chicanery to maintain their marketing scheme? You would think a company so desperate for clientele would employ more civility. I see that even customers have been abused by their workforce, so no wonder I experienced such hostility. Strongly recommend giving this group a wide berth.
