Ernesto Cervantez To whom it may concerned I’m writing to share a disappointing experience I had while picking up a bracelet I had purchased at your store. When I arrived, I was assisted by a staff member named Melanie, whose demeanor made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. She commented, “Next time you can go to the other section to pick up,” and rolled her eyes, which felt dismissive. When I mentioned I was told to pick up the bracelet around 5 p.m., she replied, “That can’t be — we have bracelets ready around 4 or 6,” then walked off to look for the item. The tone and attitude made me feel like I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I understand everyone has off days, but when customers are spending $100 or more, we expect at least a basic level of courtesy and professionalism. I left the store feeling uneasy about my purchase — not because of the product, but because of how I was treated. I hope this feedback is taken constructively. I’m sharing this in the hope that other customers will have a more positive experience in the future. Please speak with Melanie about maintaining a respectful and welcoming attitude with customers. Me Ron’s Jewelers was recommended to me by a friend. I’m so happy she told me about it! I asked for a custom band to go with my engagement ring and gave them reference photos of what I was looking for within our budget. The ring was exactly what I wanted! I may have to ask to get two stones on the side removed as they bother my pinky and middle finger a bit, but I will give it a week to see if I get used to it. Regardless, I’m so happy I was able to get my dream band at a price we could afford. Wish I had gotten my engagement ring here too! Now hoping to get a custom band for my husband, can’t wait!

Genezaret Cardoso We arrived right when he was going to close. He was friendly and stayed open an additional 20 minutes to fix our watches! He was quick and shared a little bit of his personal story. Wonderful businessman and kind hardworking person! I wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Rio Grande Valley.

Phillip Daw I grew up with my best friend a local independent jeweler and I feel that Delton Hayes Jewelry is exactly that kind of place. The staff is friendly, they can do repairs and they have beautiful merchandise. We have dealt with several people there including the owner and we are always treated well whether it’s a watch battery or a major purchase. We started going there when they were recommended by close friends who have been going there for years. I trust them to care for our items and to deal fairly. I highly recommend them as a trustworthy business.

Ashley Atchison Had a WONDERFUL experience at the Zales outlet today...there was in house jewelry repair person and they did an AMAZING JOB changing out my diamond!!! I bought the original engagement ring and wedding band at Zales 25 years ago and continue to go back due to people like Ivy and her team!!!! Shiloh Bradley Jersey, Adam, and Chris are always amazing! Kind, down to earth and non judgmental. They always try to give me fair prices, they shout me straight and even help me carry things from time to time when I have brought something in that was heavy and had my daughter with me. They give great customer service and are always knowledgeable and informative about why or why not they buy something. Very kind hearted people, everyone I have had an interaction with at either store had always been very helpful as well, but those three are my favorites!

Ciara Conway I had such a wonderful experience with a repair at this business. My antique ring looked flawless when finished. They also restrung a unique Native American crafted necklace that belonged to my father. Jason and Nichole are so kind and accommodating. This is a multi-generational family owned jeweler and I’m so happy to have found them. This is the kind of business that makes San Antonio special.
