2 /5 Mark M.: Ive had a Life policy with them for over 13 years. Of course I pay, its deducted from my chk account. Now I am requesting a "Loan" on My Policy, I have received the Run a Round for a week. After Mailing the Forms in, I had to call 2 weeks after mailing. They told me they need to be sure my payment has cleared. Well look at the policy, 13 years and Ticking. Of course payments Clear ! My next payment will be due soon, so will they then wait another 14 day5to process. I sent a screenshot if CLEARED PAYMENT. I still wait ! I honor my agreement, Texas life seems to only Take my Money !

1 /5 Sarah OBrien: This company has taken money from my cash value since 2017 and sending statements to the wrong address for 8 years. All while the new owner has returned them. They "claim" they didnt receive them back. The claim a nice "fine print" that they MAY pay your premium from your cash value. All while they dont even attempt to correct their own side of the matter. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

5 /5 Michelle Cooper: We cashed on a life insurance that I had inherited and have had no issues getting the money that was due to me. I get large monthly check and one very large yearly check that takes care of everything that we need! I hear so many horror stories of insurance companies not paying out. I also like that the money I get comes from a trust and is put into my own trust so no one outside can touch it.

1 /5 J P: They send deceptive mailers designed to trick you into keeping your lapsed policy. My company switched benefits and no longer offers Texas life, Texas life continues to send me "bills" in the mail with language on it that tries to trick you into keeping the policy. When you contact them they are completely unhelpful. Steer clear.

5 /5 STK: After losing a parent, I had to file a claim. My claims rep was Robbin Y, and she was amazing. The company actually reached out to me and sent me everything I needed with detailed instructions. I mailed my paperwork in, and called to see if it was received. My rep answered on the first call, confirmed receipt and stated my claim was submitted for payment without delay. I am very pleased with the process and speed of service.
