2 /5 Irma O: Initially, they did a good job. However, my rates kept going up in large increments. The first time, it was due to payouts in other areas that were hit by disasters and all insurances went up. But it kept happening and the last time, it was pretty big. When I contacted the office, I was told my agent would call me back. He didn’t. After several tries, I was able to speak to him. He said he would research and get back to me. He never did. I found another reliable insurance company that was much cheaper for better coverage. I should have switched to them after the first increase but didn’t even look out of loyalty because I thought my agent was very nice. But being ghosted was the last straw. I would have saved a lot of money if I had switched earlier. Word to the wise, always shop around each time they raise your rates. I never had any accidents so there was no call for the increases. And now, TFB keeps contacting me to renew my membership even though I have notified them I will not be doing so.
