3 /5 Will Wilson: They called me out of the blue, saying they were my agent and assisted with getting me a new insurance policy when my old one cancelled, and at a better rate... sounds great, right??
I get a letter 2 months later from the new insurance company saying my policy is being cancelled due to not receiving documentation/paperwork. I attempted to get ahold of my agent to find out why and through calls (being told I would receive a call back), text, and email I have yet to receive a response.
I DID get a call from the insurance company themselves, rather than my agent, and they informed me that my AGENT had been sent numerous requests for various documentation and they NEVER RESPONDED! I am about to lose my current policy because this agent, Texan Insurance, has failed to respond to not only me but the actual insurance company the set me up with!
Fortunately the insurance companys call is allowing me to try to provide the paperwork that my agent has failed to do.
I cannot, with any good conscience, recommend this company if they are going to be the reason I lose the insurance policy they sold me.
Update 5.20.25: I had to reach back out again, today, as I still received a notification of cancellation. Raina connected with me, listened to the entire telling of what happened and proceeded to work on the resolution, as I could not speak with the underwriter myself.
She was able to ensure my paperwork was filed and that they stopped the cancellation.
While in good conscience I cannot increase my rating from the initial 1 to a 5, there was a LOT of issue in between, I did increase it to 3 solely based on Rainas assistance to resolve the matter.
