2 /5 Torey Williams: The staff is great. Kind. And attentative. However, the financial institution itself is lacking. I fought all kinds of hidden fees and extra return check charges even though money was clearly in the account. Like I said, good people. But unless you are OK with spending an additional 70 a month on random fees, I would bank elsewhere. Edit: I updated the review to two stars just for the sake of the staff. But thats all I can give. The staff was the only reason I banked with them for over three years. I went to another local bank that got me set up with an account that has no monthly fee. Free overdraft protection up to 300 dollars, they printed me a Debit card on the spot, and had me in and out within 15 minutes. Unlike prosperity where I had to wait for a card in the mail, paid monthly fees, and never would get the overdraft protection I had signed up for. The generic response from the owner about "hidden fees" just proved to me that they did not care whatsoever to lose my business and only confirmed that it was the correct decision to use a different bank. I hope in the future that they choose to look into this issue and correct it. I was scared to keep money in the bank because they would have all these ridiculous charges. I could not trust them with my money. All this to say Im a local, I work In our community, I spend most of my money in our city. A bank should take care of the members of the community they are in. Not take more money when somebody is already broke. Legal theft.
