1 /5 Zach Westbrook: I’ve never dealt with a more incompetent bank. I called ahead to ask if I could cash a business check—was told “yes, just bring something showing you own the business.” I show up with everything they asked for, and suddenly it’s a whole different story. Now they say they can’t cash it. They tell me to go get the customer to rewrite the check with my name on it, which I do, and they still won’t cash it. Nobody seems to know their job or their own policies. Every person has a different answer, and none of them can actually get anything done. It’s a headache and a waste of time. This bank makes life difficult for the average customer and has absolutely no consistency or competence. I would never bank here or recommend anyone else to. Total joke.

1 /5 Krystal Hill: Please do not use Legend Bank for your mortgage. They had us open a savings account that our payment would be automatically drawn from each month by their own internal process. At some point the mortgage department moved to another branch after a long term employee left the company. The new branch did not seem to understand how the process worked and did not draw out the payment from our account even though we had several months payments available. They reported to the credit bureaus that we were delinquent. We contested and called almost daily to get it resolved. After six months they finally fixed their mistake. However, when we went to payoff the mortgage they weren’t sure how to process everything. There was still money in the account but they didn’t know how to pay off the mortgage and close the account. Even worse, they reported us delinquent again!!! This company will mess up your credit because they don’t know how their own internal processes work and they have horrible customer service. Regular banking may be fine, but I would never recommend this bank for anything mortgage related. I would be more than happy to talk with someone at Legend bank that is able to amend their mistakes. 5 /5 Cynthia Smith: Since I moved to the texoma area in 2016, Legend Bank has provided all of my banking needs. The staff is always courteous and helpful. Their satellite branch (convenience center) is great too. The Downton branch is a full service banking center, with everything from deposit boxes to staff to help open accounts. While banking is not one of my favorite chores, the staff makes it a pleasant experience for me every time.
